Electric City Butcher is a small, European-inspired butcher shop focusing on highly responsibly sourced meats and custom cut to order craftsmanship.
Since opening its doors in 2014, Electric City Butcher’s commitment to quality, transparency and responsible sourcing has made it Orange County's premier butcher shop. Electric City Butcher is dedicated to actively reducing agriculture’s negative impact on the environment by sourcing only grass-fed, pasture-raised, hormone- and antibiotic-free beef, pork, poultry, and lamb from like-minded family-owned farms and ranches. A focus on whole-animal butchery allows them to create and offer unique, hand-cut-to-order meats, as well as hand-crafted sausage and charcuterie that are of unparalleled quality. Guests can visit the butcher shop, and watch its highly trained staff at work, or take one of Electric City’s chef-led hands-on butcher classes to experience it for themselves.
Electric City Butcher is located at 201 East 4th Street in Santa Ana (accessible through main entrance conveniently located off Bush Street, between 4th and 5th Streets, or through Alta Baja Market). Current hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
