Slapfish has announced that it will open its second Orange County location in Laguna Beach (211 Broadway Street) in April 2014. The new beachside location will focus on fresh, sustainable seafood prepared simply with big flavors, and will offer a variety of Slapfish signature dishes, including Executive Chef Andrew Gruel’s lobster and shrimp rolls, tacos and fish & chips.
The 1,100-sq-ft location, with 10 seats indoor and an extensive outdoor patio, will be “grab n’ go” friendly to suit the Laguna Beach lifestyle. Guests will be able to experience the convenience of beachside carryout, with the same Slapfish quality that has made the Huntington Beach flagship restaurant a destination dining spot.
To complement Slapfish’s commitment to sustainability on its menu, the new Laguna Beach location will make use of reclaimed materials and strive to earn the 3-Star Certification from the Green Restaurant Association that it achieved at the Huntington Beach flagship location.
