On July 11, beloved and well frequented Panda Express locations across the nation debuted a surf and turf plate that features two of the chain restaurant’s newer dishes: Shanghai Angus Steak and Peppercorn Shrimp. Both dishes fall under the “Wok Smart” menu at Panda Express, meaning they are each under 250 calories per serving. Aside from the Shanghai Angus Steak and Peppercorn Shrimp, hungry patrons can also choose from Beijing Beef, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Broccoli Beef, or Crispy Shrimp to make up the surf and turf plate.
“Guests couldn’t get enough of our Peppercorn Shrimp dish earlier this year, which kept our kitchen popping with green peppercorns and delicious shrimp.We’re excited to bring back the dish and it’s a natural fit to pair it with another guest favorite, Shanghai Angus Steak,” says Andy Kao, Executive Chef at Panda Express. “This is the ultimate Surf and Turf plate and a delicious illustration of Panda giving its customers more of what they love.”
The surf and turf combo is only around till September 25.
