On Wednesday evening, Sept.15, starting at 5:30 pm there will be an event to help launch the new gastro lounge at Kimera in Irvine.
Known for blending traditional and avant-garde fare, the restaurant’s Culinary Institute of America-trained Executive Chef John Blackborn has designed an energized new lounge menu that includes a Charcuterie and Cheese Bar featuring such standouts as pate with black truffles, cognac-infused duck liver, plus a variety of cured meats and cheeses. The menu includes many other delicious small-plate items. There’s a full bar, of course. But you don’t have to be a foodie to enjoy the show.
