First Ever Vodka Brand with Gluten-Free Printed on Bottle
As the popularity of gluten-free & sugar-free products continues to surge, NJ-based Devotion Spirits, Inc., makers of Devotion Vodka — the world’s first sugar-free, gluten-free and 100% Made in America flavored vodka family, is placing a unique footprint on the highly competitive vodka category.
Devotion was recently granted permission by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) to become the first vodka brand to have the words “Gluten-Free” printed on the bottle, marking another milestone in the ever growing trend in gluten-free F&B products. Additionally, Devotion is the first and ONLY vodka brand granted permission to have “No Added Sugar” printed on the bottle.
Backed by 4 years of consistent sales growth, Devotion’s business continues to reach new heights, with distribution at prominent National grocery retailers Whole Foods, Wegmans, Publix and Albertsons, major restaurant chains Applebee’s, Houlihan’s and Red Robin, and retail stores, restaurants and bars in several states. In 2014, the brand is expected to be rolled out in all 50 states.
As gluten-free products continue to be one of the strongest growth categories in the F&B marketplace (more than $4.2 billion in sales in 2012), the ability to print Gluten-Free on the bottle a first in the vodka category is a major point of differentiation for a small company competing with global brands for shelf space. However, backed by nationwide distribution, Devotion now competes from an even greater position of strength.
