January 1st, designated National Hangover Day, brings life to two specials offered at Andre's Restaurant and Lounge at the Monte Carlo Las Vegas. Chef Andre Rochat's two favorite comfort food dishes: Cassoulet with duck confit, pork sausage, pork belly, and great northern beans, and a French onion soup, Lyonnaise, which rounds out a traditional favorite broth with a coddled egg. Priced at $20.12 each, both are Chef Rochat's personal choices for their rich flavors with beliefs that they could cure any day-after effects from New Year's Eve.
