Join TAPS Fish House & Brewery in Brea on Thursday, November 27, 2014 for a bountiful Thanksgiving buffet 12-7 PM. Dinner is $43.99 for adults; $14.99 for children 3 to 10. Start at the oyster bar, where shrimp cocktail, freshly shucked oysters, sliced charcuterie and artisan cheeses, along with offerings of honey smoked salmon, roasted lemon Brussels sprouts, balsamic glazed beets and assorted savory salads. Seasonal breads complement the spread.
After pumpkin bisque comes the traditional carved-to-order herb-brined breast of turkey, prime rib, or honey-glazed ham. Feast on braised thigh and turkey legs, giblet gravy, fresh gingered cranberries, rosemary-sage cornbread dressing, sweet roasted yams, green bean casserole,buttered corn on the cob, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Enjoy sous-vide pork belly wrapped stuffing, spicy Italian sausage, and triple mac & cheese. Other choices include lemon pepper salmon, BBQ chicken and wild rice pilaf.
End with a cornucopia of holiday desserts including classics such as pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, banana crÃ¨me pie, pumpkin cheesecake, crÃ¨me brÃ»lee, tiramisu, rice pudding, a luscious chocolate fountain with assorted fresh fruit, savory and sweet dippers; chocolate layer cake, flan,ambrosiaand pumpkin and banana breads.
Take-Away: Guests may pre-order and pick up a three course dinner with all the trimmings. Requires pre-order, pre-pay and a pre-arranged pick-up time on Thanksgiving. The dinner includes: Caesar salad, sourdough loaf with balsamic dipping sauce, three and a half pounds of carved turkey breast, traditional stuffing, housemade gravy, fresh cranberry sauce, chef’s vegetables, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato mash, and a housemade pumpkin pie. Includes instructions for heating up at home (allow a minimum of 30 minutes for heating). $130 plus tax; feeds four (available in multiples of four only).
