SCA’s Tork brand Announces Winner of No Kid Hungry Sweepstakes

GoOrange_FBProfile_v1SCA, maker of the Tork brand of away-from-home professional hygiene products in North America, today announced their contribution which will connect children to nearly 5,000 meals through a donation to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, as well as the winner of the Tork Dine Out For No Kid Hungry sweepstakes. Ann Servatius of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. in Denver, Colo. was randomly selected to win a trip for two to attend the seventh-annual Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE, which takes place October 16 19, 2014.

For each eligible entry in the sweepstakes, Tork committed to donating $1 to the No Kid Hungry campaign to connect a child in need to up to ten healthy meals. Individuals could earn additional entries for sharing the sweepstakes with their social networks and encouraging others to get involved in this important cause.

“No child should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from, which is why we’re dedicated to helping Share Our Strength raise awareness for this important issue,” said Suzanne Cohen, foodservice marketing director with SCA’s North American Away-From-Home Professional Hygiene business. “We continue to be inspired by the passion the foodservice industry has for solving childhood hunger, and through programs like the No Kid Hungry campaign and the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival, we’re able to make a difference in the lives of children across the country.”

As winner of the Dine Out For No Kid Hungry Sweepstakes, Ann Servatius will have the opportunity to join some of the world’s greatest food industry personalities and culinary icons at the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival, and on behalf of Tork, enjoy a three-night stay at Hudson the festival’s Headquarter hotel, a voucher to accommodate travel costs, tickets to five festival events and two tickets to the exclusive invite-only Chef After Party.

“I’m so excited for this opportunity to attend the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival,” said Ann Servatius, “Working for a full service casual dining restaurant, I can’t wait to learn from world-renowned professionals within the industry.”

Additional sweepstakes prizes included a choice of a Forbes Wine Club Tasting Kit or subscription to Pastoral’s Cheese of the Month program and $25 gift cards redeemable at select No Kid Hungry restaurant partners that participated in the month-long dine out program.

Tork will continue its ongoing support of Share Our Strength at the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival by collecting Autographs for Access throughout the four-day festival. For each autographed napkin posted to the Tork wine cork, Tork will make an additional monetary contribution to Share Our Strength. All proceeds from the Festival benefit the hunger-relief organizations Share Our Strength and Food Bank For New York City.
