Irvine, CA (April 2018) – ADYA has introduced Masala Fries to its menu of authentic Indian dishes at its University Center location in Irvine (4213 Campus Drive). Chefs Shachi Mehra and Sandeep Basrur have created a secret house blend of spices that includes roasted cumin and chili powder to top crispy fries and bring guests Masala Fries. The chefs took their creation one step further to offer them as CTM Fries, featuring Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Keema Fries, with spiced minced lamb and mint chutney.
The Masala Fries are a perfect addition to ADYA’s menu, which combines modern creative and classic Indian styles of cooking while balancing the bounty of Southern California with the bold flavors and spices of India. Menu favorites include Samosas, Chicken Tikka and Tandoori Shrimp, and also showcase Chef Shachi’s unique spin on the cuisine with dishes such as Watermelon Chaat with fennel, diced red onion, mint and lime vinaigrette, and a warm Naan, stuffed with goat cheese.
