OSCA culinary arts student Cloyce Martin recently competed for the “Cook Your Way to Culinary School” grand prize of $25,000. The judges for the show included Curtis Stone, Gail Simmons, and Fanny Slater, with Curtis Stone proving to be the toughest critic.
Cloyce Martin competed alongside 3 other participants from all over the country. The winner was Nick Capone, a 17-year-old senior from Denville New Jersey. Martin has worked under well-known OC Chef Pascal Olhats, in addition to traveling to France for continued culinary studies.
Martin wants to continue education programs in hotel and restaurant managment programs after finishing his culinary experience with the Orange County School of Arts in Santa Ana.
