HMSHost recognized by ACI-NA at the Business of Airports Conference with Excellence in AirportConcessions Awards

PHOENIX, AZ— Global restaurateur HMSHost was recognized by Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) through the Excellence in Airport Concessions Awards contest with awards for Real Food Daily at Los Angeles International Airport and for Cool River Café at Dallas Love Field. HMSHost also received recognition for the Wall Street Journal Newsstand/Travel Store with Starbucks Coffee at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. Real Food Daily has been serving its delicious vegan, organic fare like tempeh vegetable burgers to Angelenos for years, however the HMSHost location in Terminal 4 of Los Angeles International Airport is the first ever vegan restaurant in an airport. Cool River Café is a well-known brand in the Dallas area for its certified Angus steaks and upscale ambiance. HMSHost’s version of the street side favorite in Dallas Love Field has garnered a similar reputation as a premier travel dining destination where travelers can indulge in dishes like a petite filet with side of sautéed mushrooms and glass of wine.

Several airport food & beverage programs where HMSHost operates were also recognized. These include Los Angeles International Airport’s Tom Bradley International Terminal where HMSHost operates brands such as ink.sack, Border Grill, Chaya, Vanilla Bake Shop, Umami Burger, Larder at Tavern, 800 Degrees Pizza, and Starbucks Evenings; as well as Toronto Pearson International Airport where HMSHost operates Caplansky’s Delicatessen, Twist by Roger Mooking, Paramount Fine Foods, and others.
