Chris Guilmet has been tending bar at La Cachette Bistro for the past 2 years, learning his craft and crafting his own brand of cocktails combining fresh fruits and herbs with the perfect liquors. Here is his favorite off the new Summer Cocktail Menu starting at Happy Hour from 5pm until closing at 11pm. The ladies love it!

Orange Basil Cooler

Fresh orange slice

Fresh basil leaves

1 1/2 oz. Grey Goose l’Orange

3/4 oz. lemon juice

1/2 oz. agave syrup

1/4 oz. Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur

1 oz. soda water

Muddle together an orange slice, quartered, with 4-6 torn basil leaves. Add the remaining ingredients, save the club soda, and vigorously shake for a good 5 seconds. Pour the entire shaker contents into Collins glass, top with fresh ice and the club soda. Garnish with a spanked basil leaf and a wide orange zest.
