Taste of Orange County June 16-17 – Verizon Wireless Amphitheater

IRVINE, Calif., April, 2012—The Taste of Orange County™ —Southern California’s five star culinary weekend event—is scheduled for June 16-17, 2012 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater from Noon to 10pm on Saturday and from Noon to 8pm on Sunday.

General admission is $40, or you can download the event app for a $20 admission fee.  The “per taste” fee is still being worked out. A portion of the proceeds will be going to OC Food Bank.

Taste will present food demonstrations from the following top chefs:  Executive Chef Rob Wilson of Montage Laguna Beach, Chef Pascal Olhats of Pascal Restaurants (Newport Beach/Costa Mesa), Executive Chef Michael Rossi of The Ranch Restaurant (Anaheim), Chef Jonathan Blackford of A Restaurant (Newport Beach), Chef Louis Jocson of Red Table (Huntington Beach), Chef Shachi Mehra (pictured here)  of Tamarind of London (Newport Coast), Chef Patrick Glennon of Santa Monica Seafood (Costa Mesa) and Executive Chef Greg Daniels of Haven Gastropub (Orange). In addition, it was recently announced that Chef Jamie Gwen of KFWB News Talk 980 will be hosting the chef demos.  This is just the beginning, as more chef demos will be announced soon.
