The Halal Guys in Tustin is opening soon!
Since opening a brick-and-mortar location in Southern California in late 2015, The Halal Guys, NYC’s famous food cart, has created a strong brand presence and loyal following in Orange County, Long Beach, Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley. They pride themselves on only using high-quality products like their chicken, which has never been frozen and is marinated and seasoned overnight, then cooked and chopped on the grill and served directly to the plate to ensure a crave worthy meal that’s piping hot. Famously known for its famous white sauce, gyro sandwiches, and chicken-and-rice platters, The Halal Guys menu offers a mix of different American Halal dishes. The Tustin location is scheduled to open in the The District Shopping Center (2883 Park Avenue, Tustin, CA 92782) this summer.
“Since 2015, when we opened our first Halal Guys in Costa Mesa, we have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm for the concept. We are really excited to announce that we are opening in Tustin at The District. We chose this location because it’s conveniently located near two freeways; serves both Tustin and Irvine; and is where people live, work, play and eat. We also know we’re in good company with AMC Theaters, Whole Foods, Mendocino Farms, In-N-Out Burger, Chick-fil-A, Ike’s Sandwiches and the Union Marketplace,” said Operating Partner, Paul Tran.
The Southern California franchisee has signed a deal with Fransmart, which is known for building other popular concepts like Five Guys, to open 50 franchised units in Southern California. In addition to the Tustin restaurant, the franchisees are prepared to open several more locations by the end of 2017, including Downtown Los Angeles at 510 W 7th St, Los Angeles and West Hollywood at 8919 Santa Monica Blvd. West Hollywood, CA 90069.
About The Halal Guys:
The Halal Guys grew from its humble beginnings as a food cart on the streets of New York City to a global icon known as the largest American halal street food concept in the world. This Manhattan-based landmark was created by three like-minded men from Egypt who came to America in search of a better life. When Mohamed Abouelenein, Ahmed Elsaka and Abdelbaset Elsayed noticed that many cab drivers in New York were looking for a place to buy meals in Manhattan, they created their first food cart and quickly grew into a leading tourist and native New Yorker destination for American Halal fare. In 2013, The Halal Guys were ranked the most popular food truck reviewed on FourSquare and the third most Yelped restaurant in the United States in 2014.
