    Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill at South Coast Plaza will heat things up this winter with the addition of new lunch and dinner items and a new featured cocktail.According to Executive Chef Daniel Stevens, the new items will only be available from December 8 & March 7.Among the offerings available throughout the day are a crab cake salad featuring jumbo lump crab cakes topped with chipotle aioli, served on a spring mix with tomatoes and with a lemon-lime vinaigrette accompanied by a side of chile sauce; and a citrus flank steak marinated in fresh lime and orange juices, soy sauce, garlic and chiles served atop mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach with spicy walnuts.Both items are available for $10.99 lunch/$12.99 dinner.For lunch, guests can enjoy an avocado turkey burger served with sweet potato fries for $8.99 and four marinated pork tacos topped with Napalito salad and chipotle sour cream and served with salsa verde for $8.99.New winter dinner items include a grilled apple pork chop served with apple andouille cornbread stuffing and season vegetables for $16.99; and cilantro pesto chicken breast stuffed with jumbo lump crab meat, roasted peppers and jack cheese topped with Cajun cream sauce and serve with seasonal vegetables and cheddar potato cake for $15.99.The new Winterburry Cocktail for $6.95 features Prairie organic vodka, St-Germain, Monin Wildberry, fresh mint leaves topped with diced apple with a raspberry sugar rim.Rounding out the winter menu is a chile bread pudding for $4.99.For more information about Z’Tejas’ holiday gift cards, call (714) 979-7469.
