Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) Sweet & Savory Spectacular Benefit, a Fundraising Event honoring chef and restaurateur, Suzanne Goin and renowned pastry chef, Sherry Yard.

Event description:
Grand tasting featuring an endless array of sweet and savory foods from 40 of Los Angeles’ top chefs including Michael Cimurusti, Duff Goldman, and Jet Tila.

The event will showcase culinary creativity with a “Sweet & Savory Challenge,” where C-CAP alumni’s skills and ingenuity will be put to the test. Competing before a panel of distinguished judges including Chef Miki Hackney ofMelissa’sWorld and Barbara Fairchild, renowned epicurean author, editor and speaker, alumni will be challenged to turn baskets of mystery ingredients into an extraordinary sweet or savory dish. A silent and live auction with one-of-a-kind items will conclude the evening. Proceeds from the event will benefit Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) Los Angeles program.
