Chef David Lentz’s restaurant, The Hungry Cat in Santa Monicacelebrates Summer Crab Night, three nights dedicated to the succulent crustacean, featuring Maryland Blue crabs and others, carefully sourced from the best fisherman on the east and west coasts.
Lentz will be steaming and seasoning crabs with The Hungry Cat’s proprietary boil and serve them by the ½ Dozen and Dozen with sides of Corn on the Cob, Tomato and Watermelon Salad, and Cornbread included along with a Seasonal Market Dessert. Guests will savor expertly crafted summer cocktail specials, wines and beers that pair perfectly with any crab.
Dates for Summer Crab Nights are Sunday, June 29, August 10 and September 7. Pricing is $35 for a half dozen crabs, including sides. Other menu items, beverages, taxes and gratuity are additional. Hours are from 3 8 p.m. and reservations are recommended.
A limited Ã la carte menu of The Hungry Cat signatures dishes along with the raw bar will also be available throughout the day and evening.
