michael-minaYou’re invited to enjoy an exclusive evening with James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina at his Stonehill Tavern restaurant at the St. Regis Monarch Beach. Michael, alongside Stonehill Tavern’s Executive Chef Raj Dixit, has created a three-course dinner highlighting the freshest, locally caught, sustainable seafood on Thursday, October 16 starting at 6:30pm. Benefitting the Resort’s neighbor, The Ocean Institute, an ocean education organization in Dana Point, the dinner will feature impeccable seafood dishes, as well as organic wine pairings and presentations from chefs Mina and Dixit, as well as an Ocean Institute representative.

Dishes include a Sunset Shellfish station on the Restaurant’s ocean view terrace paired with champagne, as well as the main course – Local Rockfish Cioppino utilizing the whole fish. During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to participate in the Resort’s raffle for $10 per ticket, with prizes including a Chef’s Tasting Menu Dinner with wine pairings for two at Stonehill Tavern, Sunday Champagne Brunch for two at Motif, an overnight stay at the Resort, and more.

Seating is limited and is priced at $165 per person, inclusive of organic wine pairings, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Ocean Institute.
