Beginning in August, Delphine Eatery & Bar will invite Angelenos to cool down this summer with a new Rose Happy Hour menu, offered Monday through Friday from 5-8 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the new menu, which will exclusively feature rose wines from France, Italy, and California, as well as mixed rose drinks-including a sangria and champagne cocktail-will be donated to the fight against breast cancer.
The Rose Happy Hour menu, offered only in the restaurant’s bar and lounge area, will also spotlight a selection of farmer’s market-fresh small plates ($7), specially created to complement the selection of refreshing libations. To pair with their lighter, summer-ready roses, guests are invited to sample dishes such as the Carrot “Tartare” with pepper relish, whipped mustard, caramelized onion, crème fraiche, and chips; Crispy Pork Belly with purple kimchi, baby turnip, onion peels, and pickled mustard seed; Duck Rillettes with apple red onion marmalade, and wild arugula; and Strawberry-Filled Donuts ($8).
Rose wines + spirits highlights will include, among others:
Listel (Camargue, France) ($6) crisp, dry, light-bodied
Lange Twins (Lodi, CA) ($6) off-sweet, floral, medium-bodied
Bertani (Veneto, Italy) ($6) food friendly, balanced, full-bodied
Sparkling Rose Brut, Charles Lafitte (France) ($6) hints of berries on the nose, clean finish
Rose Sangria ($7) infused with lavender, peach, and raspberry
Pink Champagne Cocktail ($7) elderflower, pink grapefruit, bitters
Valet and metered street parking are available on Hollywood Boulevard and at the hotel entrance on Argyle Avenue.
