Whether you hope to celebrate the New Year with a special coursed dinner, family brunch or dancing the night away, Back Bay Bistro and Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort have your plans covered this holiday. The Back Bay Bistro is offering a three or five coursed special dinner for New Year’s Eve as well as an over the top Champagne Brunch on New Year’s Day. The Newport Dunes will once again be the host venue for SMG’s extravagant New Year’s Day bash, Resolution NYE 2017.

Back Bay Bistro’s New Year’s Eve dinner offers an early and late seating with a special prix fixe menu to celebrate. The menu boasts a wild mushroom gougére to start, followed by a first course of wild mushroom volute or Maine lobster bisque with cognac cream. A second course presents pan seared Jon Dory with root vegetables. The main course offers a selection of tenderloin of beef Périqueux or a pan seared white fish with chanterelle and tarragon risotto. A decadent dessert includes opera cake with espresso sauce and coffee and tea with a macaroon.

Los Angeles based renowned jazz trumpet player and vocalist, Ilya Serov will entertain guests throughout the evening with his stand out band. The first seating offers a three-course menu from 5 – 7 p.m. for $68 per person and the second seating offers a five-course menu with dancing and a champagne toast from 8 p.m. to midnight for $115 per person.

Dance into the New Year at Newport Dunes for SMG’s RESOLUTION New Year’s Eve 2017 on Sunday, January 1 from 3 – 8 p.m. Above & Beyond will provide the ultimate seaside New Year’s extravaganza. Tickets are $55-$95 and available via thesocialgroup.com.
