Located in the famed coastal community of La Jolla, Herringbone will be offering a special ‘Father’s Day Lobster Bake’ four-course menu. Chef Amanda Baumgarten will be baking Maine Lobster in the restaurant’s wood burning oven. Lining a metal tub with seaweed and a layer of the lobster, shell fish, corn, bacon and potatoes, Amanda will then top the lobster with white wine and seasoning before baking the many flavors to perfection. The tub will be brought to the table and placed in the center where guests will be provided with all the necessary tools and bibs to tackle their lobsters. The 4-course Lobster Bake Father;s Day menu is $65/person and will include:
1st Course:Deviled Eggs and Oysters
2nd Course:Choice of Smoked Haddock Chowder or Mixed Greens
3rd Course:The Bake: Maine Lobster baked in a metal tub with clams, mussels, braised bacon, corn and potatoes. Served with Old BayBrownButter and Grilled Lemon
4th Course:Peach Pie a la mode
