Bourbon Street Bar & Grill in historic downtown Fullerton is pleased to announce its continued support of Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) with its repeat involvement at the 9th Annual TACA Family Picnic, June 10, 2012.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be involved once again with such a great event, ” said Bourbon Street co-owner and founder Larry Houser. “The Family Picnic allows families with children with autism to get out and interact with other like-families and enjoy everything the event has to offer. TACA does wonders for the autism community and we’re committed to providing our full and undivided support each year. “
The TACA Family Picnic is centered on various activities for the entire family, including a number of carnival rides, pony rides, petting zoo, and other entertainment geared for kids and adults alike. There will also be an area specific to teens hosted by the Autism Youth Ambassadors. Including over 35 resources in the vendor area, a portable clinic will be on hand where families will have the opportunity for a private meet and greet with autism specialists Dr. Dan Rossignol and Dr. Anju Usman. There will also be a silent auction, raffle, and special musical guests.
In addition to featured dishes from Bourbon Street’s new menu of California Cajun cuisine, attendees will enjoy a variety of great food provided by a host of participating food vendors, including gluten-free, casein-free food options.
As the awareness of autism and the advancing knowledge of its treatment continue to excel, events such as the TACA Family Picnic have also grown. This year’s event is expected to be larger than ever with promoters anticipating over 1,500 attendees. To accommodate the larger crowds, the event will be held for the first time at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim, CA. Individual tickets including VIP family packs are available online at www.tacanow.org or at the event.
