Join us for the rare opportunity to celebrate the legend of Beaujolais Nouveau as it’s paired with a mouthwatering French dinner by Executive Chef Frederic Castan of the elegant Motif Restaurant at The St. Regis Monarch Beach on Thursday, November 21. Chef Castan will create a five delectable courses using only the freshest, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.This exceptional dinner will celebrate the French Fall Harvest, where each year the grape growers in the Beaujolais region of France honor the end of the harvest by making a wine for celebration – which is widely enjoyed around the world on the third Thursday of each November! According to the legend of Beaujolais Nouveau, the wine itself contains the spirit and energy of the year’s grapes, fermented only for a short time before being bottled for immediate celebration.

The evening will begin with a Sunset Reception on the beautiful Motif terrace featuring a fresh farmer’s market display, followed by the unveiling of this years Beaujoiais Noveau. Dishes for the evening include Maine lobster and veal sweet bread terrine, organic chicken breast filled with truffles, beef short rib stew, artisan cheeses and a special wine maker dessert – all paired with rare and popular wines from France.
