Arran Whisky Dinner
On Thursday, January 18, Tam O’Shanter will host a very special dining event featuring a five-course meal created by Executive Chef Juan Escamilla with select whisky pairings for each dish from the award-winning Arran Distillery.
The exceptional whisky pairing dinner will include:
First Course: A beautiful arrangement of canapé’s (paired with Arran’s Robert Burns Scotch Whisky)’
Second Course: Smoked salmon salad with fingerling potatoes, arugula, lemon supremes, citrus vinaigrette (paired with Arran 10yr);
Third Course: Black pepper and bacon pasta with poached apples (paired with Arran 14yr);
Entrée Course: Braised prime beef short ribs with vanilla parsnips, cipollini and whiskey mustard sauce (paired with Arran 18yr); and
Dessert: Red wine poached pear tart with berry compote (paired The Arran Amarone Cask Finished).
The Arran Distillery was founded in 1995 by Harold Curie in Lochranza, Scotland and is the only distillery on the Isle of Arran.
