Submit your best sandwich by July 10 featuring locally sourced ingredients (could be any or all; cheese, meat, bread, sauce, etc). After a Facebook (and show management) vote (July 12 – 17), the top three will be invited to face-off against one another onsite at the Western Foodservice Hospitality Expo Rapid Fire Challenge, Monday, August 28, 2017. The Chefs will prepare samples for three judges and mini samples for the first 50 guests in the audience. The winner receives $1,000, bragging rights for the Best Sandwich in Southern California and the title of Rapid Fire Challenge Champion and press exposure to over 100 media outlets including the LA Times, Huffington Post, Great Taste Magazine, local television affiliates as well as 10,000 of your industry peers!
