WINEMAKER’S DINNER: STOLPMAN VINEYARDS at Sage Restaurant
On Wednesday, March 7, Sage will host a dinner with Peter Stolpman . The Stolpmans are winemaking pioneers in Santa Barbara County. Their Ballard Canyon vineyard, planted over twenty years ago, contains some of the most prized grapes in Santa Ynez. The Stolpmans are both growers and wine producers. Stolpman’s organic grapes have been bottled by many acclaimed wineries including Sin Qua Non, Arcadian, Kunin, Qupe, Jaffurs, and Ojai Vineyards. Of course their “Estate Grown” wines are exceptional as well. If you love Rhone varietals and Syrah, the Stolpman wines are not to be missed. We will be offering a cross section of their wines, each wine paired with a special course designed by chef Rich Mead.
