Bistango:

Raise your stein and come enjoy one of Orange County’s premier Oktoberfest events, happening one night only at Bistango in Irvine. The restaurant transforms its beautiful open-air patio into a bustling biergarten for dinner Wednesday, October 3. Enjoy special German culinary creations by Executive Chef Javier Montoya while listening to the happy sounds of the Burgermeister Boys (once a musical guest on The Man Show) as they play their lively oompah band tunes from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and of course cheers with special Germany-style beer and wine for the occasion. Stay tuned for more details on Facebook, or follow along on Instagram @bistango_irvine. Prost!

Bayside Restaurant:

It’s officially Oktoberfest at #BaysideRestaurant, now through October 25. Executive Chef Paul Gstrein, who hails from the Austrian Alps, having grown up in a restaurant/hotel, brings his culinary magic and deep family heritage to Newport Beach for the next month, serving up traditional dishes, including his signature Käsekrainer” Bratwurst. This smoked pork sausage is served with emmenthal cheese infused sauerkraut, roasted potatoes and a sweet and spicy mustard. Perfectly paired with a Goose Island Oktoberfest draft beer, Bayside has a complete Oktoberfest for the palate. Prost!

Bayside has live music six nights a week, including everything from jazz to contemporary hits. Follow along at www.baysiderestaurant.com, on Facebook or Instagram @baysidenb.
